Same author

World Cup is a summer special. Same hand as Travel and Musings, same paper, same long lunches, only this volume comes out in the heat. It is not a third notebook. It is a season.

The binding holds for thirty-nine days, from the eleventh of June through the nineteenth of July. When the trophy lifts in New Jersey, the volume goes back on the shelf. Next time it comes down will be 2030.
